Homemaker vs Working woman

 Somewhere I read that , "Women are not born , they are made" . What will they wear, what toys  will they play with, where will they go , what should they do when they grow up all things are predecided  for them . That's why this line is not suprising.  There is a story I vividly remember from school. During a class I casually asked all the students what they want to pursue after college. Almost everyone answered the question . There were several voices that said doctor , teacher and other professions that are considered valuable and respectable in the eyes of society. But then there was  one girl said  ma'am we don't know what we  will become, but if we are not able to do anything , we definitely become a housewife. Women's Education :From the perspective of deprived girls

Once Vivekanad  said ," If you educate a man , you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a family".  Quotes are meant to be for a good starting because to educate a woman from roots  in real world is not a snap.  Did you ever think those girls perspective about women education who live in villages or in deprived areas?   Let's elaborate this with my own experience... Recently, I interacted with some class 10th girls through Naandi Foundation , an NGO.  I noticed many points ..first of all, their education level ..  they are in class 10th  but they are unable to write the name  of their own parents , they even did'nt know the spelling of High School .  I asked them what do they expect  from this so called studies ?
